Treatment - Implants

Implants are a revolutionary method of replacing lost teeth:

Rather than using existing teeth to support restorations, titanium implants can be inserted into the jaw bone, which can hold anything from a single tooth crown, a bridge, to a full denture.

Implant Supported Bridge

There are always many alternatives to restore a missing tooth or teeth. Implants are frequently used as an alternative to bridges to avoid tooth preparation. The advantages and disadvantages of the different options are explained to our patients as part of the treatment planning process. Dental implants can support more than one tooth unit. In this case, the bridge is either cemented or screwed to the implants below. The number of implants needed to support the bridge depends on many factors.

Multidisciplinary dental treatment requires teamwork. A prosthodontist works with a team to achieve aesthetically pleasing, optimal long-term dental health. Close co-operation exists within the team, consisting of a general dentist, periodontist, oral surgeon, orthodontist and dental technicians.

Advanced Gum Treatment:

or Periodontics. Gum disease is the most common cause of tooth loss in adults. We are able to offer comprehensive specialists treatment which may involve deep cleaning under local anaesthetic, use of antimicrobials, surgery and/or bone augmentation.

Cosmetic Fillings:

These cosmetic teeth fillings consist of a material called composite. It bonds to the tooth in a chemical way unlike the old fillers (Amalgam), which has gray color and it turns to black with time. The old fillers bonds to the tooth in a mechanic way, which needs to drill a hole in the tooth in special characteristics to make the fillers constant. On other hand, the new fillers don’t need to cut a large piece of the tooth. It only needs to remove the decay from the tooth and by this we preserve on a large amount of alive tissues. Therefore, the procedure of placement of composite fillings is a completely painless procedure. In addition, the new fillers have a better adhesion to the tooth than the old fillers . It adheres to the tooth by a special chemical bonding material. Then, we apply the composite material, and then the material gets hard by using a special fiber-optic light. In the final appearance of the tooth after restoring the tooth with the composite, no one can differentiate between the natural tooth tissues and the composite filling material unless we take an x-ray.

These fillers give the beauty to the tooth especially on the front teeth, if they were broken or have a decay. It can be used on the posterior teeth as well. These cosmetic fillings considered a part of the revolution in modern dentistry. The uses of composite material is not limited to filling the teeth. Now, it can be used to fill the spaces between the teeth especially front teeth, and it can be used to reshape the tooth.

And it becomes more beautiful when this operation is done by an expert with long experience as in our clinic. After placement the composite filling, the tooth will look 100% natural.

Root Canal

A root canal is the space within the root of a tooth. Part of a naturally occurring space within a tooth, it consists of the pulp chamber (within the coronal part of the tooth), the main canal(s), and more intricate anatomical branches that may connect the root canals to each other or to the surface of the root.

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to treat infection at the centre of a tooth (the root canal system). Root canal treatment is also called endodontics.

The infection is caused by bacteria that live in the mouth and invade the tooth when:

  • tooth decay occurs

  • fillings leak

  • teeth are damaged by trauma such as a fall.
